Aboriginal Sport Circle welcomes new and returning board of directors

The Aboriginal Sport Circle (ASC) is pleased to welcome three new Directors and two re-elected Directors to the ASC Board of Directors, where they will work with the returning Vice-President and two returning Directors. The Board of Directors provides leadership to the ASC's work to support the health and well-being of Indigenous people through participation in sport, physical activity, and traditional practices.

The Board of Directors elections took place at the ASCs Annual General Meeting which was held virtually on September 28, 2021. Returning to the Board of Directors for another term is President, Rob Newman and Director, Edward (Sonny) Albert. The ASC also welcomes new Directors, Angella Pinay, Charly Buyck and Robert Henry.

Rob, Angella, Charly, Robert and Sonny will join ASC Vice-President Janice Forsyth and Directors Brendon Smithson and Cheryl McCallum.
